GPA to Broken Harbor Pines Sale

GPA adds third NJ course to brokerage listing

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (Feb. 23, 2015) — Golf Property Analysts (www.golfprop.com) has been appointed the exclusive marketing agent for the sale of Harbor Pines Golf Club.

Harbor Pines GC (www.harborpines.com) is one of the premier public golf properties in southern New Jersey, accessible to Atlantic City, of course, but also to metropolitan Philadelphia. Designed by architect Steven Kay, the course features bentgrass wall to wall (greens, tees and fairways) and a fully owned fleet of golf carts and maintenance equipment. The elegant clubhouse — with its huge, covered terrace — is one the region’s go-to facilities for banquets, weddings and functions of any kind.

Interested parties are encouraged to contact Golf Property Analysts (GPA) President Laurence A. Hirsh at (610) 397-1818 or lhirsh@golfprop.com.

GPA has brokered more than $100 million in golf course and club properties since 1997. The firm recently listed and consummated the sale of Heritage Creek Golf Club in Bucks County, Pa.

Harbor Pines is one of three New Jersey properties now being marketed for sale by Hirsh and GPA. The others include Stone Harbor GC (www.stoneharborgolf.com), an 18-hole private club designed by Desmond Muirhead, just a few minutes from Atlantic City and the south Jersey beaches; and Hopewell Valley Golf Club (www.hvgc.com), another private club serving the Princeton and Trenton markets in Mercer County.

Conshohocken, Pa.-based Golf Property Analysts, founded by Hirsh in 1980, is a national leader in the valuation, analysis and brokerage of golf courses and related properties. Hirsh, founder and first president of the Society of Golf Course Appraisers, has performed consulting and appraisal assignments on more than 2,500 golf & club properties in 45 US states, Canada and the Caribbean.
