FLORIDA; JUNE 29, 2021 –OnPoint Golf today announced that they will be a Founding Partner of the PXG Women’s Match Play Championship, a new two-week match play event for women playing on the ladies’ professional tours working toward their LPGA dream. The inaugural event will be played at World Golf Village from October 25 – November 5, 2021 and players will compete in separate, yet connected tournaments.
OnPoint Golf, the only patented dome-shaped marker, allows for the player’s brain to translate the putting line in 3D, allowing them to interact with the line from all angles, anywhere on the green and is both USGA and R&A approved.
“OnPoint Golf made a real statement in support of the women’s game by becoming both the Official Ball Marker of the event, as well as the Official Practice Green Sponsor,” said Tournament Director Mark Berman of MediaShare Consulting Group. “It’s great to see a new brand stepping up and putting their efforts toward growing the game and creating playing opportunities for these talented young women.”
Current relationships with the brand include brand ambassador Jim Furyk, U.S. Open Champion and 17-time winner on the PGA TOUR; Colorado-based PGA Professional and former Australian PGA Tour player, Doug Rohrbaugh, and world-renowned Teaching Professional, Nick Bradley of Traditions Golf Academy of Pinehurst, NC, and online golf influencer, Club Pro Guy (“CPG”).
“Our team at OnPoint is really excited to make our mark on this event and in support of these talented female athletes,”said Briston Peterson, Founder and Designer of OnPoint Golf. We value our existing strategic relationships in the industry and have been seeking out the right opportunity on the women’s side of the sport; the PXG Women’s Match Play Championship aligned perfectly.”
On Point golf ball markers include a secondary traditional coin marker that can be logo’d for any outing, charity event or corporate sponsorship. The domed-ball markers come in multiple colors and two sizes and are currently available online at www.OnPointGolf.us and in select retailers including XYZ.
