V1 is recognized as the pioneer in delivering seamless video lessons with integrated telestration and voiceover for optimized and expedient sharing and communication between teachers and students. V1 products capture, review and analyze swing video for the creation and sharing of golf lessons and instruction content. To date, V1 has delivered more than 3 million internet video lessons by its more than 10,000 PGA golf professionals.

Over the past several months, V1 Sports has launched numerous new tech products, platform upgrades and strategic partnerships to increase its benefit to golfers and teaching professionals. V1 Sports recently became the technology developer and global sales and marketing force for the V1 Sports Pressure Mat Powered by BodiTrak, the first portable and affordable mat to record balance distribution information and center of pressure (COP) during the golf swing. Combining real-time data on a golfer’s weight transfer with V1’s top-in-class camera systems and video software makes each lesson more impactful and can markedly expedite a player’s improvement.

One of the golf industry’s most trusted developers of game-improvement technology, V1 Sports also recently entered the GPS game-tracking mobile app arena with the dynamic V1 Game app. With the V1 Game app, a mobile phone or Apple Watch becomes a golfer’s personal caddie and shot tracker. V1 Game’s powerful GPS data provides accurate yardages to greens, hazards and landing zones to help you navigate the course like a professional. After a round is completed, V1 Game’s intuitive performance analysis technology provides statistics (including robust strokes gained data) that show the user’s strengths, weaknesses and paths to improvement.

“The game’s best teachers inspire us to continually improve our existing technology while expanding our teaching tools and product offerings to better serve these instructors and the quality of the lessons they give,” Finnerty says.
