Boyne Resorts Announces Ian Arthur as Chief Marketing Officer

BOYNE FALLS, Mich. (October 11, 2016) – Boyne Resorts announced today the appointment of Ian Arthur as Chief Marketing Officer.  A new position on the four-season resort company’s executive team, Arthur begins in the role effective November 1.

Arthur joins Boyne Resorts with more than 30 years’ experience in brand work, digital marketing, business intelligence, loyalty development, and lead generation.  Recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer for Halifax International Airport Authority, much of his career success has been achieved in the resort and travel industries.

As Chief Marketing Officer for Intrawest Resort Holdings, Inc., owner-operator of five resorts, Arthur championed significant growth for the company in key areas including sales and data collection, and in its social community.  With Frontier Airlines as Vice President of Marketing, he led development of an award-winning branding campaign for the airline and later oversaw the brand merger of Frontier, Midwest and Republic Airlines.  Arthur, as Vice President of Marketing for Vail and Beaver Creek resorts, led a rebranding process for Beaver Creek, boosting the ski resort to positioning among the leading luxury resorts in North America

Arthur’s extensive experience in creating and leading impactful marketing and branding initiatives was also earned and garnered accolades through executive roles with Exclusive Resorts, Head Sports, Nike, and Prince.
