PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (January 12, 2016)—Inventors of new golf training and teaching aids, accessories and equipment will be able to gauge the interest of more than 40,000 attending PGA Professionals and golf industry leaders from around the world when the popular Inventor’s Spotlight Pavilion returns to the PGA Merchandise Show, January 27-29, 2016, in Orlando, Fla.

Organized in partnership with the United Inventors Association (UIA), the Inventor’s Spotlight pavilion on the PGA Show floor will showcase golf and related peripheral inventions not yet available at retail. During the PGA Merchandise Show, the United Inventors Association will review inventions and award top inventors with one of three awards – Most Innovative Concept, Best Marketing, and the Pinnacle (Best in Show) – on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 1:00 p.m. Judging will be conducted by UIA experts, who will be in attendance throughout the PGA Show to answer inventor questions associated with taking an idea to the development, patenting, production and golf-distribution stage.

“A popular destination on the PGA Show floor since its inception five years ago, the Inventor’s Spotlight Pavilion offers a valuable opportunity for inventors to showcase their most innovative golf inventions to industry influencers and product development experts,” said PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions Senior Vice President and General Manager Ed Several. “In working with the United Inventors Association, we are pleased to provide golf-related inventions with an opportunity to develop from the conceptual stage to the commercial, ready-for-production and sales stage.”
