FOURTEEN GOLF Celebrates Back-to-Back Victories With A Win At The LPGA Canadian Open

IRVINE, CA – August 30, 2012 – FOURTEEN GOLF, the recognized leader in wedge design with 46 worldwide professional tour victories since 2010, proudly announced today that LPGA Canadian Champion played the company’s DT-111 Driver and SF-511 #3 and #5 Woods.

According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “This is a great win for this young golfer and for our company. FOURTEEN GOLF is predominantly known for its wedges but we have a full line of world class golf equipment developed for golfers of all abilities and levels. We thank this promising golfer for playing our product in such a big tournament and for bringing attention to our driver and woods.”

The 15 year-old LPGA Canadian Open Champion became the youngest winner in LPGA Tour history. This significant achievement was made possible by posting four remarkable rounds including a final round 5-under par 67 to finish three strokes ahead of second place.

FOURTEEN GOLF and its line of golf equipment have been played for back-to-back wins. Last week, the company captured a victory at the LPGA Safeway Classic and now this week at the LPGA Canadian Open. During both events, the company had a variety of golf equipment played including the SF-511 Woods.

The SF-511 Wood Series was developed for those golfers who prefer a slightly stronger lofted wood. It features a tour size club head which allows for playability out of the thickest of rough without sacrificing distance.
The club head has been strategically designed with a slightly smaller overall head size and unique “U” shaped sole. This combination allows the club to penetrate through the toughest of lies. It also prevents snap hooks. Because of its stability and strong look at address, it is definitely a fairway wood that skilled golfers will totally appreciate.

During the LPGA Canadian Open, FOURTEEN GOLF RM-11 Wedges were played for a tie for third and eighth place. Touring professionals prefer the RM-11 Wedge because of the enlarged grooves. These bigger grooves translate to maximum spin with exceptional control. The new USGA conforming FOURTEEN GOLF trapezoidal grooves have been enlarged by 15% as compared to its predecessor.

FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. This year FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed Japanese golfing prodigy and PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal.
