COVINGTON, GA. — Bridgestone Golf, the #1 ball-fitter in golf, announced today that it is expanding the Kuchar Collection and establishing new collections for both Brandt Snedeker and Fred Couples to round out its Fall 2013 Tour Team headwear offerings.

Originally debuting in January 2013, the Kuchar Collection has showcased Matt Kuchar’s distinct style with six custom signature-colored versions of Bridgestone’s popular contrast stitch cap. Looking to continue the line’s popularity, Bridgestone and Kuchar will grow the collection with six additional hues this year. The newest additions are Mocha, Bahama, Orange, Surf, Rose and Sour Apple.

Additionally, Bridgestone approached Brandt Snedeker and Fred Couples with the same opportunity: a chance to design signature headwear that pays homage to their trademark styles.

Bridgestone’s Golf Club and Accessories Marketing Manager, Josh Kinchen, highlighted Bridgestone’s connection between the Tour Team and the brand’s fans: “Thanks to a lot of success on the golf course, our three big names on Tour—Kuch, Sneds and Freddy—have really created personas both on the course and with fans. Whether it is Kuchar’s bright colors, Snedeker’s visors or just Couples’ laid-back-look, we want to give our ‘brand loyalists’ the chance to emulate their favorite Bridgestone players, and the Tour Team line now affords that opportunity.”

Snedeker, whose visors have become a fixture of his on-course appearance, will start the Snedeker Collection with six offerings of high-crown, cotton-twill-construction visors with adjustable back strap closures that feature a terry cloth headband. The first six will be available in Yellow, Blue, Green, Navy, White and Black.

The final collection of the Tour Team Line will feature the classic styling of Fred Couples. The Couples Collection will debut in four classic colors – White, Black, Stone and Navy. The Couples Collection will be constructed of unstructured-chino twill and complemented by a self-sweatband, pre-curved visor and adjustable soft buckle system.

All of the new products from the Team Tour Line are schedule to hit shelves at golf specialty stores and green grass retailers in October 2013 with street prices ranging from $20 – $24.
