Carnahan GolfGreen Grass Only Marketing Paying Off for Brand

C. Carnahan is a boutique golf brand inspired by making lines of traditional and timeless golf clubs available exclusively through golf pro shops.  Established in 2008 by Chris Carnahan, a young ex-touring professional, the Insignia line of milled face putters in 2008 and the Vintage forged wedges in 2009.

The C. Carnahan brand has established itself in green grass shops across the U.S and the UK and is attending the PGA Merchandise Show to expand their customer base nationally.  “Our green grass only model is working,” says  Carnahan.  “We are providing PGA professionals with a unique line of performance-based putters and wedges at an attractive price point for their customers.”

The Insignia line of milled flat sticks are modern day head designs that were individually chosen to make advanced replicas with personal touches from putters that Chris played with while growing up.  The entire line of Insignia flatsticks is known for tour performance weighting and classic design.  The clubs feature CNC precision milled heads produced from type 304 stainless steel.  The line uses a slightly heavier head weight, which allows for a deeper face milling.

C. Carnahan Vintage forged wedges stand out as one of the most versatile wedge lines on the market today.  Each wedge comes designed with three custom sole grinds to allow for optimal bounce with any lie.  The 52- and 56-degree wedges are +2g heavier than the industry standard to allow for a heightened sense of feel through the downswing.  The 60-degree wedge is 3 grams heavier than industry standard to allow a higher launch out of bunkers.  Better control, increased accuracy and shallower divots are direct results from putting the forged Vintage wedges in play.

C. Carnahan will be in booth #1112 at the PGA Merchandise Show.  They will be offering NET-90 terms on all orders written at the show.

The company has recently introduced online ordering from their website at http://shop.carnahangolf.com.  All products ordered online will be shipped to consumers from one of the 59 current pro shops carrying Carnahan Golf products, adding custom ordering for consumers and sell-through opportunities for accounts.
