USGA Opens Credential Applications for Upcoming Championships

Media credential applications are now available for the following 2022 USGA championships:
Inaugural U.S. Adaptive Open, Pinehurst Resort & C.C. (N.C.), July 18-21 U.S. Girls’ Junior, The Club at Olde Stone, Bowling Green, Ky, July 18-23 U.S. Junior Amateur, Bandon Dunes Golf Resort (Ore.), July 25-30 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur, Anchorage Golf Course (Alaska), July 30-Aug. 4 U.S. Women’s Amateur, Chambers Bay, University Place, Wash., Aug. 8-14 U.S. Amateur, Ridgewood C.C., Paramus, N.J., Aug. 15-21

The USGA will review each request and respond via email as applications are approved or denied. This application does not guarantee that all requests for credentials will be granted. All applications must be completed by the appropriate assignment editor, sports editor, director, producer or similar position. If you are not the assignment editor, please forward this to the appropriate person.

The USGA will accept only one application per media outlet. The application should be submitted for the entire roster of staff, so please coordinate coverage accordingly. Per USGA policy, freelance media are not eligible for credentials. Media requesting credentials must be assigned representatives of a recognized news and/or sports outlet.
