Big Sky Resort to Open for Summer Season

Big Sky, Mont. (May 10, 2022) – Big Sky is the quintessential summer basecamp to the wonders of Yellowstone National Park and beyond. With Lone Peak as the backdrop, Big Sky Resort is a summer adventure hub with lift-serviced mountain biking trails, meandering and scenic hiking, world-class golf, and so much more. Big Sky Resort will begin a phased opening for summer activities on Friday, May 20.
GOLF To kick off the summer season, Big Sky Resort Golf Course will open on Friday, May 20, weather dependent. Golf memberships and reservations for tee times are available online now.
The Bunker Deck and Grill at the Big Sky Golf Course will be open daily starting Friday, May 20 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Bunker will offer indoor and outdoor seating, delivery on the course and take-out options.
BIKING AND SCENIC RIDES Big Sky’s lift-serviced downhill mountain biking has trails for all levels and abilities – from gutsy tech trails to flowy, mellow cruisers. Experience Swift Current terrain better than ever with all-new bike carriers on America’s fastest 6-person chairlift. This summer, Swift Current 6, Ramcharger 8, and Explorer lifts operate for biking and scenic rides daily 10 am – 5 pm, from June 11 through September 18, weather dependent. Bike Park passes and daily lift tickets are available for purchase online now.
BASECAMP ACTIVITIES Summer activities including the Nature and Adventure Ziplines, guided hikes, bungee trampoline, giant swing, gemstone mining, mini-golf, and the climbing wall will also open on June 11, weather dependent. Guests are encouraged to book all Basecamp activities online in advance.
DINING Vista Hall, Vista Bar, Westward Social, Chet’s Bar and Grill, Carabiner, and Mocha in the Huntley will be open daily beginning June 11, offering a wide variety of cuisines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
LODGING The Summit Hotel and Huntley Lodge will begin welcoming guests for the summer season on June 10.
