EMPIRE STATE BUILDING TO SHINE IN HONOR OF
AUGUSTA NATIONAL CLUB AND ITS DRIVE, CHIP AND PUTT CHAMPIONSHIP

The Empire State Building will celebrate Augusta National Club and its Drive, Chip and Putt Championship by illuminating its world-famous tower lights in green, blue, red and gold on Monday, March 14.

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship is a free, nation-wide junior golf development competition designed to grow the game by focusing on its three fundamental skills. By tapping the creative and competitive spirit of boys and girls ages 7 to 15, the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship provides aspiring junior golfers the opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country. Participants who advance through numerous competitions earn a place in the National Finals conducted at Augusta National Golf Club, which takes place prior to the Masters Tournament, and is broadcast live by Golf Channel.
